About this event

Cleveland Accessibility is excited to share the expertise and viewpoints of two User Experience and Accessibility professionals.

Topic 1: Interaction accessibility in the wild
We'll discuss and review relevant WCAG interaction design guidelines by looking at real-world examples.
Presenter: Jackie Greenfield, Experience Design Director for g2o

Topic 2: Exposing myths about accessibility

Exposing myths about accessibility in order to make UI design more creative. Sometimes the ambiguity of formal accessibility guidelines (does WCAG ring a bell?) can really hamper getting excited about creative UX design. Knowing how to apply these guidelines (not rules) appropriately will add clarity and unlock creativity you may not have thought was possible.
Presenter: Jordan Monson, Creative Director, User Experience & Design at g2o
